KEA 3X0 genset control is PV-ready

Integrate your photovoltaic system into your emergency power supply system with the current genset control of the KEA 3X0 series

Emergency gensets secure the power supply especially in critical infrastructures in case of failure of the public power grid. The innovative genset control KEA 320 or KEA 350 already reliably initiates the emergency power supply in over 300 emergency power supply applications.

Rising fuel costs are putting the focus on hybrid systems that combine conventional emergency power systems with regenerative energy generators, such as photovoltaic systems.

Integrate your PV system!

All genset controls of the Kuhse KEA 3X0 series are already "PV-ready" with the current firmware 2.12 and enable a future-proof combination of a emergency genset and a photovoltaic system.

Genset controls with an older firmware can be easily updated to the PV-ready compliant firmware 2.12.

In the event of a mains failure, this offers several advantages:

  • Savings in energy costs due to the parallel operation of the standby genset and the PV system
  • Reduction of fuel costs
  • Use of one control system for the standby genset and PV system
  • Reduction of CO2 emissions

The control of the PV plant by the KEA 3X0 can be done via BDEW contacts, an analog signal or via the Modbus interface.
